Latest Raybestos® Brand Brake and Raybestos® Brand Chassis Custom Build and Giveaway Has Striking Force

Tattoo Artist Corey Miller Brings the Raybestos Rattlesnake™ 2014 Toyota Tundra Out of the Pit and Into Your Garage

McHenry, IL — July 10, 2013 - For the fourth year, the makers of Raybestos® brand brake and Raybestos® brand chassis are giving away a custom build. But for the first time, the sweepstakes vehicle will be a truck. That truck is a 2014 Toyota Tundra… and Corey Miller, known for his amazing free-hand custom tattoos, has been given free artistic reign over its custom wrap.

 Raybestos Rattlesnake Design

Miller is world-renowned for his signature dragon tattoos. “When we first brought Corey the concept… a brand new 2014 Toyota Tundra… we thought we knew the direction he’d take for the custom wrap,” said Vickie Lehar, brand manager, Brake Parts Inc. “But, when it was announced that the Toyota Tundra is being built in Texas, Corey took his inspiration from off-road trails, desert terrain… and the fierce Texas Rattlesnake.

“As a tattoo artist, the canvas speaks to me,” said Miller.

The one of a kind custom Raybestos Rattlesnake™ will receive Miller’s custom touch later this summer. Once complete, the Raybestos Rattlesnake™ will be given away on; the official site of the Raybestos brand Brake and Raybestos brand Chassis custom build and giveaway.

The 2014 Toyota Tundra is Texas-made and built to rip through anything in its path, with rattlesnake-like speed and power.

When Miller was asked what he planned to create for the Toyota Tundra Build, he said, “I’m thinking of a rattler peeling out, ripping forward on the truck, kind of horse collar.”

“This truck is going to bear its fangs and scream forward just like a rattler does when it strikes… absolutely shredding it,” said Miller. “A while back, my buddy showed me a video of the truck hauling through the desert and doing amazing things. Looking at that video, looking at the truck, I saw it eating up dirt and just attacking. That’s what the Raybestos Rattlesnake™ is going to be doing.”

The Raybestos Rattlesnake™ is certainly equipped to tear up the desert. The L.A. Ink-featured artist and his Southern California Six Feet Under tattoo shop are known around the world, and he’s using his style and vision to make sure the Raybestos Rattlesnake™ looks as gnarly on the outside as it is under the hood.
The transition from skin to machine excites Miller. “It’s exciting to me because it’s something I’ve never done,” said Miller. “I’ve never painted a car and now I get to have this enormous, brand-new truck as my canvas.”

Miller said this project takes his artwork as a tattooist to a whole new level. “This is taking the art out of the box. To do a truck like this is better than doing a tattoo because it will be driving around everywhere and people will be taking pictures of it. It’s a big pressure on me to draw something that people will like. I can’t rest on the fact that people like my tattoos. This project is really motivating me.”
